I think I stared at this blank space for a good couple of minutes... I mean, how can I ever express so much gratitude for what you all accomplished in the first 24hrs?

Our initial goal was up in smokes in one hour and fourteen minutes (but who's counting, right?) which is absolutely insane. And then when I thought the day would slow down, pledges kept coming in unlocking Stretch Goal after Stretch Goal to the point where I thought it'd be best to let this all sink in before sharing a proper Update.

So here it is...

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR INSPIRING SUPPORT!

I'm humbled by so much love towards the Redhead and our very indie comic book series. The only reason we were able to get this far, to get to the end of the first story arc, is because Kickstarter after Kickstarter you kept coming back.

Fabiano and I saying thank you doesn't even begin to cover it but it's a start so THANK YOU!

***QUICK NOTE ON $50 LIMITED TIER***

It was just brought up to my attention that the "Every Variant Cover" package at $50 + S/H was sold out (I had started it out at 50 slots only) so I doubled the availability for those still interested in getting Issue #6 in every cover we offer.

Variant covers are still 1:10 though but seeing how we will have a larger print run than usual I see no problem in doubling the availability of that specific tier.

Yes, you guys have already unlocked a bunch of stuff. As I was typing this we just unlocked Stretch Goal #5 and we're now working towards the Ashcan Edition in print to be added to every pledge going for a physical item.

So here's what's been unlocked so far:

Every single backer of the project will now also get a digital PDF copy of Issue #6 in Black and White preserving as best as possible Fabiano Neves' ink work.

While we love the colors by Tiago Barsa, original Italian westerns were all done in black and white and we really like honoring that tradition. We've done this for every single book of the series and I'm happy we get to do for issue #6 as well.

Another fan favorite collectible makes a comeback! We've manufactured five of these already and number 6 has arrived to complete the set on your fridge :D

Nothing like a good murder of crows flying about!

Bea Jackson is a terrific artist I've been lucky to collaborate with for a few years now, she's done work for the 321: Fast Comics books, for The Lost Kids and for the unreleased Choices.

Why she didn't work on the Redhead before is beyond me but we're finally rectifying that with a gorgeous pin-up to be included in every package towards a print copy of issue #6.

And yes the art will be in full color!

Another traditional Stretch Goal that is sometimes unlocked in the Brazilian crowdfunding, sometimes right here. I'm always thrilled when I get to add pin-ups to the books!

Gives me a chance to discover new talent and form new relationships with top artists not to mention it's a fantastic Stretch Goal that caters to every backer - including our digital ones.

So stay tuned for some truly gorgeous pin-ups showing up throughout the campaign.

Past backers have collected our full set of 9 Gold Signature Series cards so it's time to start a brand new one.

(Every collectible card - and we've got over 50 by now - will be available as add-ons after the Kickstarter ends and we send out the Pledge Manager surveys.)

This time the foil on the cards will be Silver but we're still bringing in top artists to do special artworks designed specifically for these cards. First up the bat is Upper Deck's NORVIEN BASIO!

I’m absolutely stoked The Few and Cursed board game launches tomorrow on Kickstarter by Rock Manor Games at 8am EST, should be one heck of a Day 1 for us!

You can go ahead and click the link above to preview the game and sign up to be notified as soon as the KS goes live. I can’t stress enough how paramount it is for us creators to get as many backers as possible on the first couple of days on Kickstarter.

You all over-performed beyond my wildest expectations making the TFAC#6 Day 1 an absolute dream come true. I’m confident we can do the same with the board game reminding every one that pledges aren’t collected until the KS ends. 

So if you are interested in the game, why not get in on the action right off the gates!?

ONE MORE STRETCH GOAL UNLOCKED – LUCKY NUMBER SEVEN!

That’s right, we just unlocked Stretch Goal #7 adding a second collectible card to any and all pledges towards a print copy of the book. It doesn’t matter the tier you pick, if you are getting stuff sent in the mail you’ll also be getting a couple of collectible cards, a mini-print, a fridge magnet and a second copy of the book in its Black & White edition!

It’s the third time superartist CLONERH will be providing brand new and exclusive artwork to be featured on the back-cover of the Kickstarter Exclusive edition.

9-CARD SET BY ZÉ CARLOS

Artist ZÉ CARLOS has finished the 9-card set “Friend or Foe” that forms a single poster and will be printed on Chromium thick paper stock. This gorgeous set is already included in some of the higher tier rewards and will eventually be made available as an add-on once the Kickstarter ends.

I will keep this short and simple:

YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Every backer pledging towards any tier that includes a print copy of the book will now get Issue #6 in Black and White as well! That's right, that's one extra copy of the book \o/

We still do have ashcan copies of issues #2 thru #5 (issue #1 is sold out) for those joining us now that would like a whole set and they will be available after the KS ends through our Pledge Manager.

On with the show as we are now working towards our second Silver Signature Series collectible card so help us by keep spreading the word about The Few and Cursed!
