I'm overwhelmed, what a crazy past 24hrs it has been. And to be quite honest I was absolutely floored at the outpouring of love, support and kindness you all have shown towards me as a creator and The Few and Cursed.

The Kickstarter Staff has approved the project for launch and we're gonna go live, folks... it worked, you are heroes and you did this.

I read through over a hundred comments and I cherished every word, it was pretty amazing and I have no doubt it was key in helping us turn the tide on this new Kickstarter. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The Kickstarter campaign to fund and produce the long-waited TRADE PAPERBACK collecting all six Crows of Mana'Olana issues will launch tomorrow, Friday Oct. 30th, at 11am EST. 

The link above is "live" meaning you can check out the whole project, pick rewards and ask to be notified upon launch. 

Fabiano and I are thrilled to be able to offer a 200+ page book celebrating The Few and Cursed with exclusive new content and hopefully a number of exciting new collectibles like cards, coins, prints and more. Can we top the 20 items going out to EVERY package in the mail from this Kickstarter?

(Also, I'm almost done with another 100+ packages which will ship tomorrow as well!)

We were pretty confident this could be our biggest Kickstarter campaign to date but honestly after these past 24hrs and your incredible show of strength now I have zero doubt we are going to reach for the stars!!!

Hey everyone,

Let's get the good news out of the way first before going in more detail how 2020 keeps pummeling us non-stop.

While fulfillment has been slower than I had hoped it's still moving forward and I've been knocking about 200 packages every three days or so. Honestly, it's going slower than I thought because every single package has sooooooo much stuff it takes me at least a minute to put them together. Yep, I timed myself.

But this is great as it really shows how successful this Kickstarter was and how far we got with so many cool rewards and collectibles.

I gotta say I try to stay positive but man, 2020 has been a struggle to say the least and this piece of news really got to me. The project is ready to launch and it looks incredible (click the link above and see for yourself), I love all the new pieces of art that artists have done, the covers, we were really going for a massive celebration of The Few and Cursed.

Unfortunately the Kickstarter Trust & Safety team didn't share that sentiment. I got the following piece of news today:

The thing with the above message is that it's just not true. You can go online right now and find dozens of projects by companies or creators still working to fulfill past campaigns. The way I see it it's all about trust between the Kickstarter team, creators and backers and clearly it's a case by case review.

What hurts me the most receiving such a response from the Kickstarter Staff is to think I've violated that trust with the community in any way. 

I've sent in a response telling them I'm currently fulfilling all outstanding campaigns and I can share any and all evidence to support that claim. I have no idea how to proceed or what happens next as this never happened to me before.

But perhaps what can be louder is to have as many of you as possible either leaving a supporting comment here or going over to the new project page and leaving your feedback there. 

I like to believe that despite everything that happened I still found ways to do right by you because it matters, because I value your trust and wouldn't dream of betraying it.

I'd hate having to launch the new The Few and Cursed project somewhere else other than Kickstarter, it's our home, I don't want to move. At the same time I don't want to wait until 2021 to get this trade in everyone's hands. I want to run the campaign and manufacture the book this year so when 2021 rolls around we get to hit the ground running with season 2.

First 100+ packages shipping out today!!!

Hey folks!

I can't believe I'm actually typing these words... I have the first 100+ packages ready to go out the door, I'm swinging by the post-office in a couple of hours then grabbing myself a special lunch. I'm absolutely thrilled and excited to be able to fulfill this Kickstarter.

I have nothing but praise and appreciation of everyone's patience, understanding and support, thank you all so much! It won't be long now until every single backer gets their rewards \o/

And let me tell you something else now that I've built some packages, you are all in for quite a treat:

The BASIC package, really, the base for every single package, is about 20 (TWENTY) items!!! Between the Ashcan edition, all the cards, prints, the coin, fridge magnet and more, every build packs quite the wallop.

There's so much stuff to fit into every package that it does take me quite a few seconds every time. I mean, here are some photos of my work station:

I plan to get as many packages as possible shipped out before launching the next Kickstarter next week but please bear with me just a little longer as I'm fulfilling all 1.100 packages on my own. I'm sure I will get to them all, it's just going to take a little while.

So there ya go, fulfillment is officially under way \o/

THE FEW AND CURSED: CROWS OF MANA'OLANA TPB LAUNCHING ON OCT. 29TH!!

This next Kickstarter campaign is really being designed as a celebration of everything we've done together over the past five years. When Fabiano and I first created Red we had no idea she would become so popular and launch an entire universe of stories.

We want to do a special edition book that marks the ocasion as we move forward with new stories and new content in 2021.

This Kickstarter exclusive collector's edition will bring on all the bells and whistles including exclusively commissioned new art, new cards, new coins and more.

The launch date is October 29th, next Thursday, and the earlier you all get to pledge the more attention we will draw within Kickstarter.

I sincerely hope to continue feeling all the from all of you, my friends, and count on your support one more time. I have immense gratitude for all of you and I hope to continuing honoring it giving my best work and best effort.

Howdy, my friends!

I'm absolutely thrilled to announce I'm writing to you all from Florida! Operation Quesadilla was a tremendous success and I'm getting all my ducks in order to start fulfillment on this asap. It wasn't easy spending two weeks locked up in a hotel room in Mexico but I'm glad it all worked out.

Now that I'm back I'm arranging to pick up all the different items that were waiting for me and boy there's a lot of stuff! I got the metal and other cards already, I'm picking up previous issues from the warehouse tomorrow, I'm also finally receiving the new books as well, coins are on their way and all items should be in hand in the next few days.

Meaning it's finally time to LOCK DOWN SHIPPING ADDRESSES!

I wanted to have done this step already but I wasn't 100% sure I would make it back to the US so I decided to wait. If you moved or would like to update your shipping address please hit the link below and input your Kickstarter registered e-mail.

Addresses will be locked from further changes and upgrades this Friday at 11:59pm PST and any shipping problems might incur new fees and will delay your fulfillment even more.

Something wicked is on the way just in time for Halloween! I know this is something a lot of you have been waiting for and I'm excited to share that it's finally happening. We will be collecting all six issues of the Crows of Mana'Olana storyline into a gorgeous collector's edition with over 200 pages \o/

There's going to be new and exclusive art to celebrate the end of our first season and we will also hopefully unlock a number of new cards, mini-posters, bookmarks and more. Fabiano and I really want this campaign to be a major celebration of the last five years as we prepare a lot of surprises for season 2 starting in 2021!

The next two months will be really intense as I look to fulfill all outstanding Kickstarters while we have the campaign above online.

So I got over 40 boxes delivered today... it's happening, it's finally happening, let's get this KS fulfilled! I thought I'd share a very quick and loaded update, basically just a bunch of photos from everything that arrived today.

It all looks absolutely gorgeous and I have no doubt every single backer will be more than impressed when the packages begin to arrive.
